Elena Capriati graduated in law magna cum laude presenting the following thesis:”The EU Directive 93/13 on vexatious Clauses in Contracts stipulated with Consumers: Future Enforcement in Italy and Germany.” She was admitted to Bar in Rome in 1998 and she is qualified to assist her clients even before the High Courts. She also achieved the Master International Affairs at the Italian Foreign Affairs Ministry. Elena Capriati has developed a considerable experience in Family Law, specifically in international divorce, mediation to married couples who have family troubles and cross-border child abduction cases. Thanks to such experience, she is one of the leading lawyers in Italy in the field of Family Law and Hague proceedings and she is in the list of international lawyers published by “REUNITE INTERNATIONAL” (www.reunite.org), the leading UK charity specialized in international parental child abduction. She is often appointed by UK Family Courts as consultant in those proceedings where Italian Family Law and the Hague Convention are involved.
